Dulux Primer & Undercoat for Wood in White is a Quick Dry, water-based primer and undercoat in one, here in a 2.5L tin. Dulux says it is suitable for most interior and exterior new or bare wood, so it is the place to start on fresh timber before your top coat.
Dulux describes it as convenient to use, with simple and easy surface preparation. Apply 1 coat with a brush to previously coated surfaces, or 2 coats to bare wood, leaving 2 hours to dry between coats. When it is fully dry, follow with an appropriate Dulux paint system. It covers up to 16 m² per litre, brushes wash out in warm soapy water, and it is covered by the Dulux Promise. Great value for a name you know, and easy to pick up locally.
