Add roasting, baking and dehydrating into the mix, and one 5.6 litre pot covers a roast chicken, a traybake, or a batch of homemade dried fruit – five ways to cook without needing the oven on for it.
It’s a good fit if you’re cooking for a family most nights and want more than a basic one-trick air fryer. The Grill function reaches 265°C – hot enough for a proper sear – and the built-in Temperature Ace probe takes the guesswork out of roasting a chicken or a joint of meat, so you’re not cutting into it at the table to check it’s done. If you mainly want quick chips and nuggets for one or two, a simpler air fryer might do the job for less. But if you want grill, roast, bake and dehydrate as well, all in one pot, this earns its keep on the counter.
Worth knowing: “smokeless” means no smoke from the grill itself, but it’ll still give off normal cooking smells like any grill or oven, so a bit of ventilation still helps.
